Lanham, Maryland, USA – March 20, 2023 – TSi participated in the Cospas-Sarsat South Central Data Distribution Region (SCDDR) meeting on March 14-16, 2023 hosted by Spain MCC in the Canary Islands, Spain. A DDR is a region comprising two or more MCC service areas, lead by the Nodal MCC of the DDR. The MCCs in the SCDDR are Algeria, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE, with Spain serves as the Nodal.
Said TSi’s Director of Product, Sugi Trisno, “The DDR meetings are an opportunity for regional participants to meet face-to-face to discuss current Cospas-Sarsat issues and for TSi to meet with its customers. This interaction provides us with the opportunities to understand the day-to-day challenges that our customers facing, which continually pushes us to innovate and provide the best possible solution.” In this meeting, TSi were invited as part of the host delegation Spain, as well as Algeria and Qatar delegations.
Earlier in the year, TSi also supported our Chile and Brazil customers in attending the Cospas-Sarsat Western DDR (WDDR) meeting hosted by the USMCC. In addition to DDR meeting, TSi participated at Cospas-Sarsat Council, Joint Committee, Correspondence Working Group, and Experts Working Group meetings as requested by our customers.
